Atlanta World of Wheels international car show-Best in class and top ten, WOW ISCA Chattanooga- first place custom wagon and display, Eckler-s Classic Chevy Winter National-First Place Modified Platinum Certificate 991 out of 1000, Detroit World of Wheels ISCA First place custom wagon, Clevland ISCA Autorama-First place custom wagon and 50th anniversary appreciation, Year One Bash-Top twenty, ISCA regional Custom Wagon Class Champion and ISCA International Custom Wagon for 2008, Good Guy Show-Memory lane award. When this Brookwood was born, original equipment included power steering, power brakes, tinted windows, standard AM/FM radio and added Sears and Roebuck wide whitewall tires. This car has numerous NOS parts inside and out as well as deluxe hub caps, cigarette ash trays, dome light, ignition switch, taillamps, under dash lights, under hood lights. It was an incredible challenge getting these parts for a single year car. The original 348ci engine was rebuilt by Gabriel-s Racing engines in Athens GA and now features an Edelbrock intake...

The Chevrolet Brookwood is a series of full-size station wagons produced by Chevrolet from 1958 to 1961, and again from 1969 to 1972. It debuted in 1958 as Chevrolet's mid-range model in its station wagon lineup, positioned between the less expensive Yeoman and more luxurious Nomad station wagons. After the Yeoman was discontinued in 1959, the Brookwood was repositioned in the line up to be more affordable, before going out of production altogether in 1961. The 289 has been replaced with a crate 350 with 300 hp. Since the motor got a boost the car needed to add a few extras like New Radiator, Fan Clutch, Steering Box, Springs and Shocks all the way around.
