The 1967 Chevrolet C/K series of trucks was the beginning of a revolutionary way to look at trucks. GM's pickup lineup was redesigned with rounded corners as well as a smoother transition from one panel to the next. Back in the day these trucks were an instant success with the public and to this day they are sought after by collectors and hotrodders alike. This sharp 67 short box received its restoration in 2012 and looks quite handsome in its black paint job accentuated by trim pieces and centerline wheels. Take a seat in the cab and you are greeted by a luxurious cloth bench emblazoned with a Chevy bowtie and fully carpeted floor. Aside from a tilt steering wheel and tachometer the dash retains a mostly factory look complete with retro appearance modern radio. This Stepside pickup has recently been through a frame-off restoration creating one unbelievable Restomod. Starting with a completely rust-free truck, the body was removed from the frame where the chassis underwent several modifications. 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes were added, and the steering was updated with a power rack & pinion set up. A stainless-steel fuel tank was dropped in between the frame rails behind the rear axle. This replaces the original fuel tank that was behind the seat from the factory. New lowering springs were placed in the rear with drop spindles up front. All suspension bushings were replaced as well. The body of the truck is very good, with fit and finish being a major focus. The deep black paint has a high gloss finish. All the chrome and stainless are new along with all the glass and weather stripping. Wood floor in bed and custom frenched taillights in the fenders. The custom black leather interior is what really raises the bar on this truck. All molded black leather, from the seats, door panels, kick panels, headliner, behind the seat and even atop the dash.
