Every inch of this truck was built to perform and look good doing it. To start with the drivetrain we have a 383 CID stroker engine, topped with a 671 Supercharger with two Edelbrock 600 CFM carbs. AFR aluminum cylinder heads with 1. 6 ratio roller rockers were utilized, a Comp Cams solid lifter roller cam was installed to manage the valve train. For cooling an electric water pump, and an aluminum radiator with two electric fans manage engine temps in even the most demanding of driving scenarios. A B&M TH350 transmission and shifter were installed for gear change management. Power is transmitted to the Dana 60 rear end with a positraction carrier and 5. 13:1 gears. The C/K line was Chevrolet and GMC's full size pickup truck line from 1960 to 1999. After 39 years the line was replace by the Silverado line up but the C/K's are still highly sought after and make great platforms for some of the nicest looking hot rods today. This particular 65 has been completely built from the ground up with no expense spared during the process. The truck was taken completely off the frame and stripped down starting with just a shell. The frame was painted to match the rest of the components and gives the underneath a very finished look. The body was then painted with a red that is very similar to the rally red of that era. The chrome on the truck is in impeccable condition with no signs of pitting anywhere. Pop open the red hood and you will see one of the nicest engine bays I have seen.
