This stunning one owner accident free truck was purchased new on August 13th, 1968 from Capitol Chevrolet here in Denver, Colorado. Before the owner took delivery, he had the dealer cover the factory carpet in clear plastic. That plastic has been there ever since preserving the original carpet. The owner dropped a camper in the bed, loaded up the family and hit the road looking for adventure.
In 1970 dual saddle tanks were installed to promote longer distances between fill ups when driving cross country with the family.
In 1985 dual exhaust was installed to help that big 396cid engine breathe and improve the sound.
