The 2nd year of the Camaro saw only subtle changes from its introduction in 1967, but carried over all of the aggressive looks and muscular styling that made it an instant hit. Although a plethora of engines were available for the Camaro, this particular Camaro was options with the 327 CID small block Chevrolet engine that still fills the gap between the fenders. The original Powerglide controls forward movement, and even what is believed to be the original paint still shines in the moonlight when taking this old girl out for a late-night cruise.
The current owner is believed to be only the 3rd owner since new, and has taken great care of it since taking possession in 2004. Some of the engine components have been upgraded, such as the carb, intake manifold, tubular headers, ignition system and distributor, an additional set of gauges, and an aftermarket radio.
