This Corvette is part of the recognizable 'C3' body-style that spanned 14 years from 1968-1982. In 1967 Chevrolet made a major overhaul to the Corvette brand when they unveiled the all new C3 Corvette. The Mako Shark II design for the car was conceived by Larry Shinoda. The C3 Corvette was produced all the way until 1982. For those 15 years Chevrolet would make many changes, many of which were suggestions from their customer base. This nice example is from later in the C3 era, 1977. That year there were alterations to the steering wheel column and wrap to the radio and sun visors.
