Back in 1976 this Corvette was specifically ordered in White Exterior, with a White Leather interior package, making this car truly a rare find. Built with the L48 small block Chevy 350ci V8 engine, this Stingray is pumping out a fair 165 Factory horsepower. Backed with a Turbo 350 3-speed Automatic transmission to make any driving experience with this car, a desirable one. This '76 Corvette is nicely optioned with the L-82 350 CID V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission and is an absolute blast to drive. The L-82 V8 was rated at 210 horsepower which was 30 horsepower more than the base L-48 V8. In 1976, Chevrolet made a few changes to the Corvette from the previous model year to help reduce cabin noise. The first was an air induction modification to the hood that pulled air in above the radiator and into the air cleaner duct reducing wind turbulence noise previously caused by the 'Cowl Induction' hood system. The second was a partial steel underbody that replaced fiberglass to improve the rigidity and also to help shield the cabin from engine and exhaust heat and road noise....

1978 marked the 25th year for America's supercar. A fresh designed body was rolled out with new 'fastback' styling compliments of the wrap around rear window. Though behind the seat space was added it was no longer a hatchback. The small block 350 was still the only available engine but was offered in a couple different trims with the most powerful being the L82. This particular L82 Vette has lived a rather pampered life being owned by the same person since 1983. With the car having less than 57000 miles and only 17000 miles since 1983 this all original black beauty is sure to be a great addition to any ones collection. The all original paint is great condition considering it's almost 40 years old and with the original red pin striping to break up some of the black it truly is a great looking car.
