Back n the 70s personal Luxury was all the rage, with horsepower on the wane and styling and comfort moving to the fore-front; neo classic looks and a baroque aesthetic was taking center stage. No car represented this change in US consumer taste better than the best-selling Monte Carlo.
For 1975 Monte Carlo engines were a carryover from 1974 except for the addition of GM's High Energy electronic ignition being made standard equipment and frankly there wasn't anything to get excited about. Fuel economy and effortless torque were the name of the game in the mid-70s and this one doesn't disappoint. Power delivery is smooth and consistent; adequate for cruising and commuting. The interior is finished in nice factory white vinyl with a smell and feel only a nice 70s personal luxury coupe would have. The Car is finished in a unique light green, and sports Chevrolet rally wheel with chrome beauty rings and center caps. For a 44-year-old original car, it's in remarkably good shape.
