1947 Chevrolet 3600

View Description

When the truck was sold, it was transported to its new home in Eugene, Oregon where it started a restoration over the next several years. In 1981, the original 216 cubic inch was swapped out for a 235 cubic inch Inline-6 for added power and reliability. After a few years the engine was rebuilt in 1987 and the odometer was rolled back to zero to keep track of how many miles were put on the rebuilt engine. Since then only 4,500 miles have been logged on this truck! The truck was then moved down to Colorado where it resides up to present day and is still owned by the second owner. 3100 pickups being are probably one the more sought after classics in today's market. The front end looks to be stock with the exception of a Mustang II style steering rack. This rack & pinion steering rack makes the truck more responsive when maneuvering through curvy roads. Open the door and you will find an interior that has been kept clean and simple with a bench seat, new Autometer gauges in the instrument panel,...
