Chevrolet re-introduced the Impala SS from 1994-1996 as the highest trim level in the Caprice lineup. It featured stiffer suspension tuning for better handling, and the 2nd generation of Chevrolets small block V8 named the LT1. Factory, the Impala SS produced just north of 260 horsepower and over 300lbs of torque. This made for a family sedan that can haul more than just the kids. This particular Impala SS has had a number of upgrades and modifications made to push the envelope on what a family sedan can really do. A larger camshaft was added to help control the engines breathing. A custom cold-air intake was fitted to make sure it is breathing more dense air. The cylinder heads have been CNC ported to create less restriction, ultimately making more power. A full exhaust system starting with long-tube headers let this monster scream down the road.
