The '61 Thunderbird was part of Ford's third generation Thunderbird production. Optional in 1961 was the highly sought after swing-away steering wheel, which this T-bird has to allow easy exiting.
They say you never get a second chance to make a great first impression, and this '61 Bullet-bird's aesthetic has no need for introductions. This Thunderbird is a prime survivor. While appearing to have a repaint, it is the original Corinthian White (DL60-1238) and appears to have no obvious repairs, damage, or any rust bubbles. Inside, you're greeted to red vinyl bucket seats that are assumed to have the original covering. The rare 'radio delete' plate also appears to be factory-installed.
Under the hood likes a 390 CID V-8 engine paired to a Cruise-O-Matic transmission in a compartment that is free from rust and extremely clean.
