Powered by a 36. 7 cubic inch, 2 cylinder longitudinal engine that produces a stout 29hp! A 4 speed manual transmission helps to bring a little more involvement to the driving experience. The burgundy and black exterior is in good shape and the simplicity of the interior is a neat feature. Everything from the flip up driver and passenger windows to the stadium style seating to the lever on the dash that adjusts the headlight assembly up and down makes for a great conversation piece. You will surely be the only one at the show with one of these. In a...

1967 Citroen 2CV

View Description

While it is cool to own high performance or luxury cars, it's awesome and important to keep cars in the world that represent automotive history to show the evolution that results in the modern automobile. Starting in the 1930's when Citroen was bought out by the family owned Michelin, the TPV was developed to initially be super fuel efficient (upwards of 90 miles per gallon), and still maintain a smooth ride enough to transport eggs across a field without them cracking. The TPV was a French acronym that translated out to 'very small car'. By the time 1939 rolled around, 47 prototypes of the car had been developed including the use of different materials like aluminum and magnesium to keep the overall weight of the car as low as possible. In 1939 as well after France declared war on Germany, (the beginning of this little event called World War II), Germany seeked to collaborate with Citroen with the TPV for possible military application in which Pierre-Jules Boulanger, head of Citroen, refused resulting in him being dubbed 'Enemy of the Reich' being under constant duress of arrest or deportation. The further development of the TPV evolved into the 2CV which had taken...

1967 Citroen 2CV

View Description

A quick internet search done by yours truly revealed a movie promo photo of Heather Graham, who played Felicity Shagwell in the 1999 comedy, Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me, standing in front of the back end of an Orange Citroen 2CV. According to the owner, this was that car! A little digging revealed it was just a promo photo and the car most likely did not make it into the movie but everybody loves a good car story, right? This orange piece of eye candy is powered by a small but mighty 375cc H2 Air Cooled gas engine producing a mind boggling 9hp that is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission, both believed to be untouched in terms of a rebuild. You really can't help but grin and possibly giggle when you get behind the wheel. The shifter location alone makes you feel like you're in something other than a car. This car measures a wheelbase of 94. 5 inches, 152 inch overall length, 58. 3 inches of width and 63 inches high and weighs in at a feathery 1323lbs! The seats legitimately look like lawn furniture but are surprisingly comfortable and forgiving. This car features...
