Powered by the numbers matching 221 CID flathead V8, this classic Ford has just 78,784 original miles; talk about a time Machine. Let's get back to that lovely flathead V8 engine. Very nice 1936 Ford Roadster. New fiberglass body built by J. B. Donaldson. This one was built approx 1 year ago with less than 500 miles put on it since. Has a 350CI Chevy with Vortec heads, Holley 4BBL 600 CFM Carb, 700R4 trans, Walker Oversize Radiator with fans. Chassis was TCI powder coated. Mustang II front with polished calipers, SS 15 Gallon tank, Lokar shifter, gas and brake pedal, SS gas and brake lines, 4 wheel disc brakes, Ididit Column, VDO gauges, Painless wiring, Aluminum exhaust and custom headers, SS bumpers and brackets. Ford sold over 820,000 model 48's in 1936 vaulting it past Chevrolet for that year. Fords combination of price and good looks really sealed the deal in the marketplace for 1936. The Model 48 was available as coupe, roadster ,sedan, station wagon and even a pick -up. This one is a four door sedan with plenty of room for friends and family.
