The oil crisis of the 70s ended the muscle cars wars that ran so strong through the late 60s to early 70s. In the early 80s Ford wanted to start ramping the Mustang back up and in late 1981 The Special Vehicle Operations Department or simply SVO was instated to oversee their racing division and limited production high performance cars. While there were many upgrades including the suspension and braking system, the SVO Mustang is mainly known for its Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that put V8s of its era to shame! The SVO Mustang would only see production from 1984-1986 making it sought after by collectors everywhere. Here we have an '86 model, last year for the SVO. As you approach this pony, you'll see the black paint isn't perfect. This car has had a lot of smiles per mile, but the paint still looks good. The gray leather interior is in good order.
