Built by a reputable builder here in the Denver area, this 1961 Econoline was built with drivability and performance in mind. The heartbeat of this truck is a 307 cubic inch small block Chevrolet equipped with a FAST electronic fuel injection system and is hooked up to a 2004R transmission allowing you to cruise at freeway speeds with ease. This whole power plant has been move back towards the rear of the vehicle a consider amount to get it off the top of the axle allowing it to handle much more like a normal car. The front suspension is a Heidts independent front suspension kit with power rack and pinion steering making this pickup very easy to control.
