Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to offer this KUSTOM Retro 50's style 1930 Ford Highboy Roadster.
This metallic/metal-flake blue street rod was built by Kustom Classics in Ft. Worth, Texas. Yes, the very same Kustom Classics that designed and built the world famous 'Eleanor' for the movie Gone in 60 Seconds.
It took Kustom Classics 3 years to build this Highboy. They started with the custom built frame by Heidts along with the cross member, tubular A arm front suspension, and rear 4-link rear suspension.
The powerplant started as a 302cid Ford crate and was immediately upgraded with a Weiand High-Ram Intake, Holley Carb and Mallory Distributer. This 302 is backed with a Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission that is connected to a Ford 9' rear-end out back.
The front wheels are guided by a rack and pinion steering setup and it corners like a champ too! You will be cruising down the road in style and comfort because this roadster has Chrome coil over Carrera Performance shocks and it all comes to a smooth stop...
