Hertz had a Rent a Racer program back in the 1960-s. That-s makes this one the 40th anniversary edition. Ford partnered up with Hertz to produce a performance modified Ford Mustang GT and called it a GT, H for Hertz. Which were available in only 9 states, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Its upgraded performance package came with a 90mm cold air intake, high flow mufflers, X- pipe, FR3 schocks with lowering springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace. Now this one we have here has been very well garage kept. It-s as clean as they come. The Mustang has been a phenomenon since its introduction in 1964. Considered Fords longest running production car as the nameplate is still used today. With over one million units sold in the first two years the Mustang is truly an American success story. Leading competitors were quick to get into the pony car craze including the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird and AMC Javelin. This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is painted in Performance White with a red GT500 stripe package. The interior screams sporty good looks with its two-tone red/ black leather interior. Most Mustangs wearing the Roush name are nowhere near the level of customization and performance offered by the Stage3 package. Everyone likes a 5. 0, but early model Coyote engines had some quirks. By 2010 Ford had been using the 4. 6 platform for almost 20 years and the performance numbers validate that!

This bad boy is turned up to 540 horsepower and 510 ft/lbs of torque! Most of the increase is courtesy of the R2300 Roushcharger and it's supporting modifications. A full build sheet is available upon request.
