Known as the '64 1/2 this early production drop top is a mostly original California car purchased from a woman in California in the 1970's and added to a very special collection of high-quality cars where it has remained until recently. The car has always remained in a climate control storage facility where it has been looked after and patiently waiting for it's new owner. The original inline 6 cylinder engine fires right up with a turn of the key and the 3-speed transmission is tremendous fun to drive.
There are a few note-worthy items to mention about this car that make it not only unique but also historically significant. The first thing you notice when you open the door is the absence of the usual bucket seats. This car was ordered with a bench seat which at the time was believed to be a $50. 00 option. Along with the seat option this car was also ordered with a radio, power top and clock that is handsomely mounted on the center of the dash.
