Known as the '64 1/2 this early production drop top is a mostly original California car purchased from a woman in California in the 1970's and added to a very special collection of high-quality cars where it has remained until recently. The car has always remained in a climate control storage facility where it has been looked after and patiently waiting for it's new owner. The original inline 6 cylinder engine fires right up with a turn of the key and the 3-speed transmission is tremendous fun to drive.

There are a few note-worthy items to mention about this car that make it not only unique but also historically significant. The first thing you notice when you open the door is the absence of the usual bucket seats. This car was ordered with a bench seat which at the time was believed to be a $50. 00 option. Along with the seat option this car was also ordered with a radio, power top and clock that is handsomely mounted on the center of the dash.

This 1965 Ford Mustang is absolutely stunning inside and out and is sure to turn some heads and bring home some trophies on the car show scene. This 1965 Ford Mustang is powered by its rebuilt 289 CID V8 engine, backed by a C4 3-Speed Automatic Transmission, and running to a Ford 8' rear end. The 289 V8 under the hood is believed to be the original engine to the car with around 3,000 miles on the rebuild and received some very nice upgrades that include Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Heads and Intake,a Holley 4-Barrel Carburetor with electric choke, and a mild cam. Some other nice upgrades under the hood include: an Aluminum Radiator with an Electric Fan, MSD 6AL Ignition, Mallory Distributor, Ceramic Coated Headers, Chrome Alternator and Fuel Pump, and Aluminum 'Cobra' Valve Covers. The gorgeous Black Mustang only has 500 miles since the restoration in 2010. Starting life originally as a 6 cylinder Mustang, this little pony has come a long way. This is a car that you would see with an ad that says too much to list because the new items list is longer than the original items list. The body has received quite a lot of restoration with replacement panels and floor pans. Almost the entire interior was replaced and kept as original. The paint and body were kept the original sea foam green color and the factory exterior options were left as factory. This is where the upgrades start.
