What a story this ride has! This car is a direct tribute to a vehicle that was originally built in the 50's for a famous Arizona hot-rod builder. Painted in a lovely Antique Cream with Maroon Scallops, the Speedway fiberglass body is mounted on a rectangular tube frame. The hood and nose are aluminum. This Track T features a 2. 8l (171 CID) V6 engine from a 1979 Mercury with a Weiand intake, 2-bbl carburetor and headers. The motor is tied to a 3-speed C4 Ford automatic transmission with a mild shift kit installed several years ago and the powertrain runs through a Halibrand quick-change rear end. This car handles fantastically thanks to its transverse leaf spring suspension up front and Carrera coil-overs in the rear. All the suspension parts are heavily dosed in eye-popping chrome, making this Track T just as exciting to look at underneath. This is a highly photogenic car that has featured in several magazines over the years and has turned countless heads. Weighing in at just 1,750lbs it is very easy to get this little roadster going...
