At the young age of just 100 years old, she is a sight to see from early motoring! As Indiana Jones once said 'That Belongs in a museum'. The Gardner Motor Company was established with Russell E. Gardner, Sr. as CEO, Russell E. Gardner, Jr. as president, and Fred Gardner as vice-president. The 1919 Gardner had a 112-inch wheelbase and were produced as Touring Cars, Roadsters and Sedans. The $1,125. 00 1919 Gardner was an assembled car, well made and equipped with a 192 cubic inch four-cylinder Lycoming engine. That year 12,000 automobiles were made. The touring was the first offering and was followed with a roadster; by September of 1920 the 4-door sedan was in the line up. While the cars 1922 Roadster look basically the same for the first three years, a number of changes did take place.
