1951 GMC 100

View Description

This slick Machine looks like its ready for restoration but then you hear the rumble of the stout 5. 3L V8, what a great engine as General Motors really hit the nail on the head with this engine. Backing this power plant is a smooth shifting automatic transmission, great for cruising the back roads and or rolling down the strip on a hot summer night. Do not worry about the hot nights as this 1951 GMC is blessed with a vintage air unit and this will keep you chilly on a hot night or day. The exterior was a intentionally patinaed appearance and this was no accident, feel the slick surface and you know the amount of wetsanding done to reveal the underlying history of the truck. The interior is a grey/brown vinyl that is slick as can be, that is paired with new gauges as well. What...

1951 GMC 100

View Description

In 1912 General Motors patented the GMC truck name and the rest is history. GMC has become known for building dependable trucks that have become the workhorse of America. During the 30's and 40's the pickup became more popular than ever as the Army invested in 600,000 GMC trucks during WWII. After the war the GMC light and medium duty trucks had a major redesign called 'GMC New Design'. Incorporating a larger, stronger and sleeker body. A design that is extremely desirable today in the retromod build market.

This 1951 GMC 100 pickup had a body off restoration in 2017. Painted in a matte black finish and fitted with 19' Torque Trust wheels with a polished lip giving this GMC one mean look. Professional pinstriping, sliding rear window, Integrated taillights, wood bed planks, and a maroon grille...

View Description

This mid 1950's pickup is iconic and is the first production year of the GMC Blue Chip series pick-up trucks which only lasted until 1959. This specific Big Window is true survivor and is dressed in era correct Bright Teal with a Summit White roof. The interior was reupholstered on this pristine pick-up to match its eye-catching paint. The same beautiful Bright Teal is used on the interior's custom painted dash which is equipped with an Oil Gauge, Generator (Battery) Gauge, Gas Gauge, Thermostat Gauge and even a Vacuum Gauge which was a very rare option for a 1950's pick-up. There is also a manual toggle switch for a custom Electric Cooling Fan which is also wired to the factory thermostat gauge. Under the steel hood of this pick-up sits a newer Small Block Chevy V8 paired to a 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. In the 1950's, it was a rare option to have an automatic transmission on a pick-up truck, the more commonly used 3 Speed '3 On The Tree' Manual...
