1947 GMC 3100

View Description

This full restoration took place just a few short miles ago with the odometer showing a low 1631 miles since build. With a fresh drivetrain all the way around resting on QA1 coil overs and a power rack and pinion steering system I can tell you this truck tracks strait while cruising down the road as well as rolling down the strip. Powering this 47' GMC 3100 is a built tough GM 383CID V8 stroker engine, yes that's right this rowdy Machine not only looks the part but performs and sounds the part as well. Backing this power-plant is a TH350-3spd automatic transmission that will grab a gear when needed snapping you back in the seat leaning into the pedal or when you want to ease into it and enjoy the open road. The exterior has been glazed over in a deep and rich Black Cherry PPG brand paint and the attention to detail is top notch, with popping chrome accents and a beautiful interior to match. The interior is just as clean, with a two tone color theme this tan and cherry leather bench seat will grab you and not let go until you have...

1956 GMC 3100

View Description

Believe it or not, there was a time when every light duty truck built did not offer four-wheel-drive. In the post-war era until around 1960, General Motors RWD trucks could be ordered with the NAPCO (Northwestern Auto Parts Company) 'Power-Pak' conversion that would have been installed by an authorized dealer or NAPCO franchise to the tune of $1,200-$1,500 (big bucks considering the truck itself had an MSRP of around $2,500! ). This half-ton, Shortbed GMC comes painted in bright 'Corvette Yellow' and has a gray/black cloth interior. Custom aluminum/alloy wheels with locking hubs really set this big GMC off and the chrome is nicely finished too. The current owner believes to be the third keeper of this half-ton 4X4 and also claims it has always been in the dry southwestern state of Arizona- one of the best places in the country to find vehicles without rust! You'll find an upgraded powertrain under the hood- a small-block Chevrolet 350 CID V8 tied to a 4-speed manual transmission. This is a heavy truck, but it moves quickly with the late model, powerful motor. This straight, clean GMC has an AM/FM radio with cassette player installed for you to blast your...
