The C/K series trucks were Chevrolet and GMC's full size pickup truck line from 1960 to 1999. 1967 brought an introduction to a new, more modern body styling and ran through the 1972 model year and also began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. GMC offered four trim levels for its 1972 trucks: Super Custom (which was a base work truck), Sierra, Sierra Grande, and the Sierra Highlander.
