We will bet you haven't heard of the 1941 Graham Hollywood. Well a bit of history, The Graham Brothers decided to start their own automotive business in 1927, they purchased Paige-Detroit Motor Company and started building cars. After some success in racing they earned a reputation and had a successful company. After -The Great Depression- kicked in and sales fell. After partnering with Hupp Motor Company they started building vehicles based upon the body dies of the Cord automobiles. The company lasted until 1962 after struggling for a very long time in sales and the inability to retool.

When you find a Graham now it is usually not all original due to the fact that parts are virtually impossible to find. This one is no different, it was built into a hotrod and what a hotrod it is. Graham-Paige was an American automobile manufacturer founded by the Graham brothers: Joseph, Robert and Ray Graham. These brothers started in manufacturing with a glass company, then graduated to manufacturing kits to turn Model Ts into trucks, and finally branched out to form an automobile manufacturer of their own in 1927. They purchased the Paige-Detroit Motor Company hence the name Graham-Paige. They initially offered several vehicles with either a 6- or 8-cylinder engine. This Graham 46 has the standard six engine which hums like a sewing Machine. The history of this particular Graham is quite interesting being only a 3-owner car. That is right, only 3 owners over the past 88 years! The first owner was a Graham dealer in Carlinville, IL who parked the car in his dealer garage from 1941 until 1965.
