The C/K line was Chevrolet and GMC's full size pickup truck line from 1960 to 1999. After 39 years the line was replace by the Silverado line up but the C/K's are still highly sought after and make great platforms for some of the nicest looking hot rods today. This particular 65 has been completely built from the ground up with no expense spared during the process. The truck was taken completely off the frame and stripped down starting with just a shell. The frame was painted to match the rest of the components and gives the underneath a very finished look. The body was then painted with a red that is very similar to the rally red of that era. The chrome on the truck is in impeccable condition with no signs of pitting anywhere. Pop open the red hood and you will see one of the nicest engine bays I have seen. The block decodes to be a 1970 LS4 which is a great platform to start with. Bored. 030 over just to make sure everything was nice and fresh.
