This Bel Air has a brand new 350 CiD V8 Crate Motor with a -Thumper Series' Cam and a period-correct Muncie 4 speed manual transmission. The engine only has 80 miles since its installation and is nicely appointed with lots of chrome and braided hoses. The car has a true dual exhaust that sounds amazing in cruise mode, and even better when you unleash the beast on the streets. The inspiration for this car came, as one might expect, from the nasty, blown 1957 Chevy from the movie Hollywood Knights. However, in this case, this is a true Bel Air (not a 210), it's red (not yellow), it's fuel-injected (not carbureted), and, and. well, it's the spirit that counts - this '57 Bel Air is a much better car in every respect than the Hollywood Knights legend.

The monster rat motor in this car started at Specialty Machine of Burlison, Tennessee, which bored the block 0. 060 over, and turned it over to a master engine builder in Tennessee, who assembled it. An OE steel crank with Clevite bearings spins its stock rods (with 8. 5:1 TRW pistons) in the mighty 468 CID mill. A custom grind COMP Cams bumpstick handles pushing the OE valvetrain in its stock heads, which combine to provide tons of power, yet still stay away from the ragged edge of streetability.
