1966 Buick Riviera
View Description
Buick Riviera's 2nd Generation ran from 1966 to 1970, when Buick completely redesigned the Riviera, moving the headlights behind the grille, where they moved up above the grille when not being used, and had a longer body. The hood was extended, and the rear styling was similar to a fastback design. The engine remained the same in 1966 & this was the last year for the 425 CID 'Super Wildcat' dual quad carb powerhouse! And this one is no stock Buick 425CID. The block was professionally bored. 30 over, and fitted with all new internals, the heads have been ported & polished, then were re-guided & fitted with oversized intake valves. The carbs were also recently rebuilt & refinished by Sparky's Carbs. Helping it stay cool & healthy are the high volume oil pump and a high capacity aluminum radiator and it's exhaust is coming through a set of Sanderson headers and a stainless exhaust. There has been almost no expense spared in the restoration of this Riviera. One look into this interior or at the undercarriage shows a little of how lovingly...
