1965 Factory Five Cobra

This is a 2007 Factory Five Mark III, but it looks virtually unused (which one would expect for a vehicle with just 287 miles on the build). A massive 429 CID V8 engine, mated to a crisp-shifting Tremec TKO-500 5-speed manual transmission provides the go; and Factory Five's tube-frame chassis, with Koni adjustable coil-overs at all 4 corners and potent front disc brakes, handle keeping things wheels down and glued to the pavement. The 429 has been refreshed 'from crank to rocker arms', and it is truly built for the horsepower junkie. A Jeg's high output starter turns things over, and the MSD billet distributor provides reliable ignition. A big 750 CFM Edelbrock 4BBL carb sits atop the Edelbrock Victor Jr. aluminum intake and makes sure that the huge 429 has plenty of fuel at the top end of the RPM spectrum. A QuickTime bell housing provides occupant safety if there was a destructive clutch failure, and the new Ram Clutch kit also has a Ram hydraulic throwout bearing.
