Behind that classy billet aluminum grille and under the flamed hood is a fire-breathing 454 CID V8, which is backed by a stout GM TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. The big 454 is topped by an all Edelbrock setup, with dual Edelbrock 4BBL carbs and a ceramic coated Edelbrock intake manifold. Other key adds to the 454 include a Milodon deep sump oil pan, MSD distributor, ceramic coated Sanderson headers, AFCO aluminum radiator, and a Spal electric fan. Engine dress up parts include Billet Specialties valve covers and air cleaner, chrome 120-amp alternator, and polished water pump and pulleys. All that power and torque spins a Ford 9 in. rear end with 3. 89:1 gears, while the adjustable multilink suspension out back helps keep the rubber planted, and a driveshaft safety loop adds a level of protection during hard launches. The front end has tubular upper and lower control arms, GM 11' disc brakes and QA1 coilover shocks. The body is fiberglass B&B kit, and it sits on a steel tube chassis.
