The Blue Flame Metallic paint (from Ford's 2015 truck color palette) really pops in bright sunlight, and the finish is very nicely executed. Bronco lovers everywhere will recognize the quality of this build, which was completed to order by Build-A-Bronco in 2015. This custom ride is now on its second owner since its 'commissioning owner' had it built to his specifications, and it still has less than 5K miles on the build. Part of the project plan included keeping the height of the truck below 81', so it would fit in a standard height garage opening (as well as allow for easy commercial transport when being shipped across country), while the rest included ensuring that this Bronco would be suitable for both on- and off-road adventures with the whole family. To that end, a custom tubular race-inspired tube steel chassis was selected, and completely powder coated in a silver/gray 'hammer forged finish'. Ford introduced the Bronco in 1966 to compete with the growing category of small 4WD vehicles like Jeep's CJ-5 and International Harvester's Scout. When the Bronco was first produced, it was a completely new vehicle for Ford. The frame and other key suspension components were not shared with any other vehicle in the Ford lineup. The Ford Bronco is arguably one of the most iconic small SUV body styles ever produced, and a later generation would make it famous, thanks to a rather well-known police chase. This Bronco was featured in, and on the cover of, Bronco Driver Magazine's issue #43 (Jan/Feb 2010). The restoration commenced in late 2008 in Albuquerque, NM, and was completed in under a year. RT Rods of Albuquerque, NM performed the body and mechanical work, 'Drop of Color' (in Albuquerque) handled the paint work, and the interior was completed by Bear Nut Upholstery (also in Albuquerque). The Bronco was Fords first SUV introduced to their line in 1966. The truck was offered in a pickup and a wagon version. It was one of the earliest American made SUVs and broke ground on creating an entirely new market for trucks in the US. The Bronco was an iconic part of many of our lives growing up and was extremely useful in many people-s professions. This Bronco features a signature 302 CID V8 that has been rebuilt & stroked to a 347 CID V8 utilizing a Dart Pro stroker kit, only 75 miles ago! So, you will have plenty of power to get you over any terrain you come across or to pull your new boat for the summer. Nothing says classic 4x4 like a nice Bronco and this one certainly stands out in a crowd. The Bronco began production in 1965 and through 1996. With fingers crossed it's expected that a new generation is going to come to life some time after 2020, you can even see a sneak peak of this modern Bronco in the film 'Rampage'.

This beauty is powered by a strong running 302 CID V8 and has been very well maintained through the years. The engine is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission which in this case is referred to '3 on the tree'. The current owner has had it for 25 years, and it's a single-family vehicle with the original owner being the currents owner's father's uncle. With several updates done to the truck it's certainly capable of cruising down the highway. Some of the upgrades include front disc brakes, electronic ignition, new body mounts, new springs, and a gear reduction to the starter motor. Trying to keep the truck in as original condition as possible yet maintaining it to be a daily driver I would say it's certainly a well-kept truck.
