This Falcon is powered by the inline 6-cylinder Mileage Maker engine that Ford designed to achieve a staggering 30mpg! The Falcon went on to be the basis for which the legendary Mustang was based. Construction was unibody and suspension was standard with coil springs in the front and lead springs in the rear. Brakes were drums all around and a the two-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was an additional option from the 3-speed manual that was the base transmission.
