However, all those wonderful features also makes finding a nice one challenging, since so many of these trucks have been bashed, abused, and just plain used up in the years before they made it to the collectors' A-list.

Fortunately, this 1979 Land Cruiser is very clean, with an awesome Dove Beige paint job and white top that really stands out. This '79 marks the first year of the final FJ40 version that was sold in the U. S. This particular example has restored with extensive attention to detail. The vehicle was completely dismantled before the frame was abrasive blasted to bare metal and then powder coated. All body panels and body tub have been abrasive blasted, with all rust having been repaired with either new panels or welded-in steel. Step into the world of classic adventure with this vibrant 1972 Toyota FJ40. Sporting a lively yellow exterior that stands out against any landscape, this vehicle is a true testament to Toyota's timeless design and engineering. There's a Chevy 350 CID V8 lurking there, which is topped by an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edlebrock 4BBL carb. The big V8 is backed by a 4-speed transmission that shifts smoothly. The cast iron exhaust manifolds help keep the noise down a bit, as well as allow the 2-into-1 exhaust and MagnaFlow muffler to stay tucked well out of the way of the nasties.
