The D series International pickups were produced from 1937 up to 1952 where it was then replaced with the K series. With the curved fenders, and V shaped front in this truck truly stands out in a crowd. Something unique about this truck is that the current owner purchased it from the original owner's son prior to the restoration. That simply means hands have not been changed very much on this truck and it still shows well today.
Powered by a more modern Chevrolet 350 CID V8 this truck has no issues cruising down the highway. The motor is from a '75 half ton pick-up while the heads are from a '79-83 chevy. Putting out an estimated 300hp this engine was said to have been rebuilt roughly 3,000 miles ago. The engine has been paired up to a TH350 transmission making driving this truck simple. Being nearly 80 years old this truck did have to undergo a bit of a restoration to be road worthy. Some of the fresh additions include: coated headers, AFCO aluminum transmission cooler, AFCO aluminum radiator and overflow tank, new AC compressor, new alternator, front disc brakes, power steering, and an Edelbrock 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor.
