1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC-Z

The third generation Camaro was released in 1982 with production ending in 1992. The first Hatchback design was a direct reflection of the advancement that had been made in car glass design. There were several engine options available in 86 but the top of the line was the 305 TPI which was only available in the IROC-Z Z28. This beautiful example has been repainted back to its original bright red color. The black scoops coming up the hood let people know this isn-t the average Camaro. Under that hood lies the original 305 TPI that runs exceptionally well. The ram-air ducting was placed there to get fresh cool air to the intake giving the 305 some more power. The Tuned Port Injection or TPI gives the car great throttle response while increasing MPG-s. Speaking of MPG-s, the 700r4 allows for highway driving while keeping the RPM-s right at 2000 making this a great road trip road car. The original IROC-Z wheels are in excellent condition and fit the car perfectly. The T-tops give the car a hardtop look but can be taken off and placed in their bag for that...
