The RS option was an appearance option only that came with electric operated hideaway headlights, revised taillights that included the backup lights under the rear bumper, along with RS badging and exterior stainless steel trim. The SS performance package could be added in addition to the RS package which included either a 350 or 396 CID small block engine and upgraded chassis components to handle the additional power and for better handling.
