The idea of the Mustang was a simple yet revolutionary design to the automotive world and after its initial success every car company wanted a piece of the action. The Camaro proved to be the right car to combat the Mustang, not only in good looks but also in the performance wars of the last 1960's. Over the last 50 plus years over 5 million Camaros have been sold and more continue to roll out every year!

'Classic in black' is what this one is. Powered by a period-correct HU Block 350 HP 327 CID V8, this little beauty has some pep in her step, for sure; and the 5-speed Tremec manual transmission adds to the fun, giving you one extra gear, and closer ratios to boot. The 327 has the desirable 'camel hump' heads, which normally sported 2. 02' intake valves and 1. 6' exhaust valves, allowing for good high RPM breathing. The aluminum intake helps as well. According to the owner, there are about 10,000 miles on the drivetrain. The side pipes add to the classic C2 look, and something you can't see unless you take the vintage-style aluminum knock-off wheels is the fact that this 1966 Corvette has 4-wheel disc brakes. This '66 really shines as a driver - set up to be a frequent cruiser if desired, she's got all the right stuff. But as you dig into the detailed work of this loaded and fantastically coordinated fresh build, you'll realize it's truly irresistible. The full appeal of this Camaro is as clear as black and white. literally. The glossy white paint has a great clearcoat shine, and so the sunlight really highlights the super-straight bodywork. You also get to see bold pieces like the two-inch cowl hood, front air dam, and full-width rear spoiler. But this also has an obvious dark side. The full brightwork package has been blacked out, so the grille, bumpers, window trim, and even the taillight housings are quite distinct. It coordinates nicely with upgrades like the matte black hockey stick stripe and dark US Mags wheels. The total effect is somewhere between a white knight and a black heart. There are only about 1,900 miles on this coupe since its restoration, so the black interior is deep, dark, and quite fresh.
