This build was a labor of love and took nearly 13-years to complete. The cab was stretched 6', added suicide doors, a sunvisor, a White HD truck radiator support housing, along with a Fat Man chassis. We can assume, there are not a lot of these trucks built like this one! The metal fabrication on the cab is very well done - as is the show quality Black paint! The body is so straight, the mirror finish is accented by a tastefully applied Red pinstripe, and the stance - well take a look for yourself! This '40 Pickup is a real looker - whether the body grabs you - or the detailed engine bay - you'll find yourself staring. She is powered by a completely rebuilt drive train including 350 cu in bored to a 355 rated @ 350-hp, 5-speed manual trans, and a Ford 9' positraction rear end w/ 3:55 gears. The engineering, and detail on the chassis is fantastic - the exposed chrome tubular upper/lower control arms, and the aluminum coil-over shocks - gives you the idea of what lies behind.
