Ford F-Series pickup trucks have been sold continuously since 1948. For the last 67 years Ford has gotten their formula right: reliable drive trains, rugged good looks, and a trim level for every budget. With a single-cab/long bed layout, and rear wheel drive, this truck would've made a great work horse in 1978. it probably still will! This 1978 F250 with the Ranger package is no exception. The current owner inherited this truck from his father, and states the truck was treated to a full restoration. Several receipts of the work have been furnished. The truck sports with a 400 CID V8 under the hood which has been dressed out with a chrome valve covers and a chrome breather. Backing the big cubic inch V8 is a C6 automatic transmission in good working order. The body was repainted a two tone color of brown and tan. Currently the truck sits on a nice set of American Racing alloy wheels with white letter tires. The interior has been freshened up with new carpet and vinyl for the bench seat.
