In the United States the word Saloon usually means something completely different but in England it referenced a 4-door vehicle such as this head-turning Jaguar. In 1959 Jaguar was producing some of the most beautiful and functional vehicles of all time and this vintage cat is sure to impress. The 2. 4 Litre was the company-s first small saloon since the demise of the 1. 5 and 2. 5 litre cars in 1949 and was an immediate success. It seems silly to speak of this car as -small- when compared to modern cars of today. The opulence of this car can only be compared to that of a Rolls Royce or Bentley. Inside you will notice beautiful red leather seating surfaces accompanied by a beautiful black 4 spoke steering wheel proudly displaying the Jaguar logo in the center. The Walnut Burl Dash and door surrounds are in very nice shape and just scream luxury and make for a perfect back drop to the black Knight gauges and chrome dash trim.
