1959 Jaguar MK I

View Description

In the United States the word Saloon usually means something completely different but in England it referenced a 4-door vehicle such as this head-turning Jaguar. In 1959 Jaguar was producing some of the most beautiful and functional vehicles of all time and this vintage cat is sure to impress. The 2. 4 Litre was the company-s first small saloon since the demise of the 1. 5 and 2. 5 litre cars in 1949 and was an immediate success. Even though Jaguar has been bought and sold by many companies over their existence, Jaguar has never failed in designing some of most beautiful vehicles ever produced.

Our 1958 Jaguar Mark-1 3. 4 is a fantastic example of how Jaguar has been able to distinguish themselves in the luxury sports car market. Just one glance at the front end and you know it's a Jaguar. This four-door saloon is painted in glimmering gloss black with accenting red leather interior. All accented with real wood trim. Under the hood is a 3. 4- liter engine fitted with twin SU HD6 carburetors producing 190 horse- power. Attached to a push-button...
