1968 Mercury Cougar
View Description
Mercury introduced the Cougar in 1967 as the Pony Car wars were in full swing. Based on the original Mustang, the Cougar was designed to be an upscale performance icon and an alternative to the popular Mustang. The Cougar was intentionally styled with a European flair to set it apart from other Pony Cars of the day. The concealed headlights were only offered on the first-generation cars, 1967-68-69. This Baby has a 302 V8 under the hood and the car looks beautiful with blue and a black interior really sets it off. Recently she has had a disc Brake Conversion in the front and new drums in the back. Also is equipped with AC, Power Steering and power brakes....
