1940 Cadillac LaSalle

The LaSalle was an American brand of luxury automobiles marketed by Cadillac from 1927 through 1940. It was intended to be something between a basic Chevy and a top end Cadillac. Towards the end of the run of 1940 the LaSalle was more like a Cadillac than ever. The convertible much like this one was their crowning jewel and people loved it. The styling was classic prewar with its fat fenders. The blue on this car really sits apart with the chrome being in good condition for being restored back in 1983. The owner really didn't drive it much after that only about 600 miles. The car was taken all the down and built back up from bare. The original 3446 engine is still intact and runs extremely smooth.
