The Continental Mark II is an ultra-luxury coup that was sold by the Continental Division of Ford for the 1956 and 1957 model years. The only product line ever marketed by Continental during its existence, the Mark II served as the worldwide flagship vehicle of Ford Motor Company. Back in it's day this was marketed up against the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, which is what you do with the most expensive American Produced Automobile of the time. As with the high production cost, the buyer ends up winning because Ford was losing thousands of dollars on each car produced. This Lincoln was his personal car and was used to pick movie stars and other high end clientele from the airport as he wined and dined them and sold them a car.
