The Falcon Futura Wagon was a scaled down version of the Galaxie line up and served as a basis for multiple Ford lines including the first generation of the Mustang. The third generation of the Falcon line was launched in 1965 and in 1967 the heater/defroster became standard along with 10' brakes added to the V8 models.
