In 1968, Dodge introduced a new restyled design for the Coronet that proved to popular then and now with its aggressive and attractive body lines. This 1968 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible is powered by its rebuilt 383 CID V8 engine, backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission, and running to a 8 3/4' rear end with 3. 23 gears. This awesome Coronet began its life with a 318 CID V8 under the hood but was swapped out to a more powerful 383 CID V8 with a mild cam dropped in which also sounds amazing. The transmission was recently gone through and had a Mopar Performance torque converter put in to help transfer the power to the rear. The exterior has been repainted in a glossy white paint and was accented the ever popular 'bumble bee' stripes on the rear of the car and a white convertible top.
