A 1969 Honda CT70 or as we used to call them, a Honda trail 70. Now I have a lot of memories about this pocket sized bundle of pure fun and I-ll bet you do too. When I was a young lad this was the object of my desire one summer as a friend down the block got one for his birthday, that was July and I had to wait until December for a holiday grand enough to ask for such a large gift. It was a long hot summer, as I waited for my chance to ride his Trail 70. I can still remember the smell the engine made when she was hot and running strong. Somewhere in the middle of September just after school was back in secession I remember he laid her down while trying to do a donut and while we all thought the fun was over it started right back up and seemed to look even better with a scratch on the headlight, a little meaner.
