Now the debate still rages about the moniker 442. Some will tell you with conviction that 442 stands for 400 cubic inches, 4 speed, dual exhaust. Others insist that is stands for 400 cubic inches, 4 Barrel, two door. When I hear 442 all I think about is burning rubber and the dotted white line that appears to be a solid line once you exceed 120MPH. Not that I would ever fracture a speed limit law! This 1966 442 is a very pretty maroon but it is best described as rusty red and has a black interior that appears factory fresh. Under the hood of this Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 is the diamond in the middle of the engagement ring, a 455 cubic inch Big block that has the factory 3 duce set up.
