1963 Plymouth Savoy

View Description

In 1963 Chrysler developed the 426/415 horsepower Max-Wedge Super Stock which were factory built race cars that were sold to compete in Super Stock drag race competitions. As tested in the 1963 issue of Hot Rod Magazine these Savoy with the 426 Max Wedge could run 12. 6 seconds in a quarter mile with a top speed of 112 miles per hour right off the showroom floor without any modifications. This particular 1963 Savoy was not originally a Max-Wedge car, but it has been fully restored and upgraded with the 426 , the 727 Torqueflight push button automatic transmission and the Suregrip rear end with 4:10 gears and with only 6000 miles since looks as if it is a new car right out of the showroom. The performance upgrades have surely made this Savoy a much more desirable car and the appearance of the car has been given a complete transformation as well. The exterior has been finished in a stunning high gloss coat of Viper Red paint, which looks amazing with the new set of American Racing aluminum wheels and the shine of the chrome accents which are all in near perfect condition. The interior of this Savoy has been...

1963 Plymouth Savoy

View Description

Pick the groceries, kids or pets up with a grin & a roar! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this remarkable 1963 Plymouth Savoy Wagon.

This is a real departure from your typical family hauler. It is finished in a really nice-looking slate blue outside with blue interior, and American Racing Torque Thrust wheels to hint it will give you a run for your money.

Pop the hood on this baby and it is like opening an old HOTROD magazine from 1963. No kidding. The big block Mopar is a real trip back in time, with its far-out exhaust manifolds and 'don't be fooled' stock look. Yes Sir, that is a '69 440 now, with only 2000 miles on it per the seller. It is connected to an 833 4-speed, making this one fierce wagon! Ah, to drive the winding roads or...

1958 Plymouth Savoy

View Description

The Plymouth Savoy is an automobile model produced from the 1954 through 1964. Plymouth used the name Savoy on several automobiles. From 1951-1953, the Savoy name was used on a station wagon, upgrading the base model Suburban. Later was a line of full-sized Plymouths from 1954-1961. Another incarnation was among Plymouth's downsized full-size cars from 1962-1964. As with Plymouth's Plaza and Belvedere models, the Savoy was named after an upscale hotel, the Savoy Hotel in London. For the 1957 and 1958 model years, the line added a four-door hardtop sedan. This four-door 1958 Plymouth Savoy looks very good with the White and Red exterior in great shape and highlighted by just the right amount of chrome. The Red and white cloth interior looks just as good and perfectly offsets the two-tone exterior. Powered by a 4. 6 Ford motor and an automatic transmission. This 1958 Plymouth Savoy will make a great addition to any collection. It would also make a really cool daily driver. Sure to...
