1938 Pontiac Deluxe

View Description

Pontiac first unveiled the Pontiac 6 in 1926, just a few years before the Great Depression. The 6 was designed to help fill price gaps formed from their other brands such as Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Chevrolet. This model is from '38 and she is a beauty. The red exterior paint is in nice shape, especially for being near a believed 30-year-old build. Inside you'll find tan Leather seats in good order and the red paint extends to the dash for continuity. Put the key in the ignition, give her a twist and the 350ci V8 under the hood rumbles to life with a great exhaust note! Seriously one of the greatest sounding small blocks I've heard in a while. Power runs down though a 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. She runs and drives out very well. Current owner has had her for over 5 years,...

1967 Pontiac Acadian

View Description

This is a tasty example of the Nova-s badge-engineered Canadian cousin, a -67 Acadian Canso. Acadians were marketed by Pontiac dealers in Canada. Technically, they were not Pontiacs but a separate brand, though they shared some styling cues with Pontiacs of the era, for example the bifurcated grille. Acadians were never terribly common even north of the border, their annual production running in the piddling low thousands or even less. The brand existed for only a few years-from 1962 to 1971, when GM of Canada pulled the plug. After that, Pontiac-badged Nova-s were sold under the Ventura II name, just as they were in the USA. The current owner purchased this beauty out of Red Deer Alberta Canada in 2007 and has only needed to maintain it. Being a bit of a Nova fanatic, he was drawn to the unique styling and rarity of this show piece. Completely restored from the ground up, the deep candy apple red paint just gleams. Under the hood, the original 283 has been upgraded to a 327 with L79 specs and dressed out with tons of chrome. Even the underside of the Acadian sports more chrome and stainless, which is why this car sows so...
