Powering this blue meanie is a Pontiac 350 v8 with a 200 r4 transmission with an overdrive gear. Behind the transmission is a 8. 5 10-bolt rear end. This steamliner has had a full restoration, including some modern touches. The front sub frame was done with a Mustang II power rack and pinion steering. On the inside, you will be greeted with a custom made bullet instrument panel, a tilt steering column with a boomerang steering wheel. In 1941 the Pontiac line was referred to as -Torpedo- and had a unique style different than any other General Motors car of the time. The Torpedo Streamliner was void of running boards and later models had -Blackout- trim with all of the formerly chrome trim being changed to Duco Gun Metal Gray. The 6 cylinder engine has been replaced and updated to a 1983 Camaro 305 Cubic Inch V8 with the front and rear out of a 1978 Camaro. The dash and transmission are out of a 1991 S-10. Special attention has been paid to the East Side upholstery, high quality Fusion Orange paint job, electronic Speedometer, California Pontiac cranks and handles and full powder-coated frame.
