The suspension also was improved. The reason for the 924S engine upgrade was twofold: to bring more power to the 924, naturally, but more so because VW had decided to stop manufacturing the 2. 0-liter engine, leaving Porsche in the lurch. This car has a great history that we have to tell! The original owner of this car was a Texas University alumna that was a Coed Intercollegiate Pocket Billiards Champion in 1965. After graduating college and getting a good job, she bought her dream car in 1979. This Porsche 924 painted in her choice of Silver Metallic with the optional Porsche radio.
